On 22 September Israeli Antiquities finally closed off the public footpath across the Abu Haikal cherry orchard (plot 53). Many people use this to get to their houses or to the mosque. It is the only connection between the Abu Haikal houses which are divided by the settlement and the military base.

The other end of the footpath has been dug away and the gateway removed but it is not fenced off at the moment:

They moved their ramp across to the right further onto Guabe family land in order to uncover another ancient wall:
